Instructor-led class
Your first time with fused glass is always in a hands-on class. Our trained staff guide you through the types of glass pieces you can create and the kind of fusing that suits your final piece.
You'll be amazed what happens when glass and kiln meet. From pendants to platters, sushi dishes, ornaments and mobiles, the only limit is your imagination.

You build a design from pieces of colored glass. We kiln-fire it so the pieces fuse together, then place the fused glass into a mold and re-fire — or "slump" it — into a final shape, be it a bowl, a platter or a plate.
The $35 class fee covers both firings. The first firing which makes a tile, and the second firing for the slump or mold to make your piece into a bowl, plate, or platter should you choose.

Learn to use a variety of cutting tools and grinders, and practice different cutting types before you commit to your design.
Design with sheet glass in a rainbow of colors and opacities, plus stringers, rods, noodles, frit, pebbles, chips, iridescent glass and millefiori.

The $35 class fee is per person and covers both firings — the first firing which makes a tile, and the second firing for the slump or mold to make your piece into a bowl, plate, or platter should you choose. The glass you use costs extra.
Popular projects include pendants, small platters, sushi dishes, coasters and suncatchers.
Our instructors walk everyone through safe cutting and handling. Call 435-575-6463 to check age guidelines for your group.
Glass pieces are kiln-fired after your class and are typically ready to pick up within one to two weeks — unless you came with a larger group, which can take a little longer.
