2. Park and walk in
Free parking at Junction Commons, right at our door. No reservation needed — just come in and we'll get you set up.
3. Paint or fuse glass
Pick pottery to paint, or try instructor-led glass fusing at $35 per person, which covers both firings. Take as long as you like.
4. Make a day of it
Pair your visit with outlet shopping, lunch on Main Street or a drive through the mountains before heading back down the canyon.
What a family afternoon costs
No packages, no add-ons, no hourly meter. The studio fee is $10 for adults 13 and older and $6 for kids 12 and under, and it covers glazing and kiln firing. Pottery pieces start at $3, so you choose how big the day gets.

Add glass fusing while you're here
It's the thing valley visitors don't expect. Cut and arrange colored glass into a pendant, plate or suncatcher, and we fire it twice — the $35 class fee covers both firings, with glass priced separately. Finished glass is ready the Friday of the following week.

What is there to do near Salt Lake City on a rainy day?+
Pottery painting is an easy indoor answer. Paint Fusion is 15–20 minutes up I-80 from Salt Lake City — walk in, pick a piece, and paint as long as you like while the weather does its thing outside.
Do I need a reservation for a day trip?+
No. Walk-ins are welcome during studio hours. If you're bringing a group of eight or more, give us a call at 435-575-6463 so we can save a table.
How long should I plan for?+
Most people paint for 60 to 90 minutes, but there's no time limit. Stay as long as you want — the studio fee covers your whole visit.
How much does it cost for a family?+

Can I take my pottery home the same day?+
Not the same day — pieces need to be glazed and kiln-fired. They're usually ready about a week later. Many valley visitors pick theirs up on their next trip up the canyon.
